The little village Montesquiou, a Bastide from the 13st century, is located on a hill in the southwest of France between Toulouse in the east, Bordeaux, and the Atlantic in the west and the Pyrenees in the south, in the historical Gascony -the home of the Musquetiere D'Artagnan- in today's department Gers.
Wild orchids in spring, Millions of sunflowers in summer and shiner covered meadows in autumn emphasizing the attraction of a far hill panorama which releases at clear days the look to the snow-covered peaks of the Pyrenees.
The region offers numerous culinary delicacies and much experienceable history. A mild, sun rich climate and an intact nature of overwhelming variety make this area an ideal holiday area.
Our charming guesthouse is in a very quiet location on the edge of the village, in the continuation of the medieval defence wall, directly next to the monument protected fortified tower.
